A Day at the Races!

The Assay Office Managers recently enjoyed an 'away day' spent at the St Leger horse racing at Doncaster.
Ashley Carson, Assay Master said "The day offered a great opportunity to see how all the Team Leaders left at base performed without the presence of their Managers and I was delighted to learn that the business continued to perform perfectly without any issues. The same could not be said for a few of the managers the following day!"
The Sheffield Assay Office was established in 1773, under an Act of Parliament and today the company assays and hallmarks the precious metals - silver, gold, platinum and palladium.
