Industry Fundraising at the Benevolent Society Ball 2025

In December we were delighted to have the opportunity to attend The Benevolent Society Ball 2025. It was a fantastic evening and a great success; held at the iconic Grand Hotel Birmingham - it didn’t disappoint!

Whilst it is always great to network with colleagues and friends, it's important to remember that this is one of the many ways that our great industry helps raise funds and support those less fortunate. It is an excellent opportunity to get together with peers and colleagues to celebrate the strengths and achievements of many individuals, businesses and organisations within our trade, and most importantly raise money!

So many great things were celebrated this year; Judith Lockwood and Naomi Newton-Sherlock completed their Sahara trek to raise funds for The Benevolent Society...

The HALO (Hallmarking Awareness and Learning Online) award managed by Assay Assured, a joint initiative by the four UK Assay Offices, was presented to Anna McLoughlin Fine Jewellery for their work on consumer awareness of hallmarking and learning online. It was an honour to present the award.
