Entry for the HALO Award 2023 is Now Open

Following the success of last year's HALO Awards, the British Hallmarking Council are proud to announce entry for 2023 is now open!
Launched in 2022, the HALO Award was created to promote and recognise the importance of hallmarks as one of the UK jewellery industry's best defence again unfair competition. As it was last year, the award will be won by the most effective initiative relating to online consumer protection, hallmarking in the UK and the Digital Dealer's Notice. The deadline for all applications is Friday 8th September 2023.

The Sheffield Assay Office was established in 1773, under an Act of Parliament and today the company assays and hallmarks the precious metals - silver, gold, platinum and palladium.
