Every summer, Goldsmiths North brings the finest contemporary silverware and jewellery to the heart of Sheffield for one weekend only, in association with the Sheffield Assay Office and the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths in the City of London. Visitors to the Fair will have the opportunity to meet and buy from 70 independent makers from all over the UK and beyond.
Our exhibitors are all independent makers at the top of their game and represent some of the best, most interesting and highest quality work being made in the industry today. This will be your chance to enjoy a shopping experience that isn’t available on the high street – a chance to engage with and buy direct from the makers themselves.

The Sheffield Assay Office was established in 1773, under an Act of Parliament and today the company assays and hallmarks the precious metals - silver, gold, platinum and palladium. Sheffield Assay Office is one of only four UK assay offices who all work to uphold the Hallmarking Act of 1973 and continue to ensure consumer protection for customers purchasing precious metals.
