Sheffield once again played host to some of the UK's most talented jewellers and silversmiths as the annual Goldsmiths North returned to the magnificent Cutlers' Hall for another highly successful weekend.

The three-day event celebrated the very best in contemporary jewellery and silverware, bringing together makers, collectors, industry professionals and members of the public for a vibrant showcase of creativity, craftsmanship and design excellence.

From striking modern jewellery to beautifully handcrafted silverware, visitors were able to discover an inspiring range of work from established makers and emerging talent alike. The exhibition highlighted the remarkable diversity of contemporary precious metal craftsmanship, with exhibitors demonstrating innovative techniques alongside traditional skills that continue to define the industry.

Throughout the weekend, visitors had the opportunity to meet the makers behind the work, gain insight into their creative processes and learn more about the inspiration and expertise involved in bringing each piece to life. Many also took the opportunity to purchase directly from exhibitors, supporting independent craftspeople and investing in beautifully made, original work.

The grandeur of Cutlers' Hall provided a fitting backdrop for the event, reinforcing Sheffield's long-standing reputation for excellence in metalworking and craftsmanship. As a city with a rich industrial and manufacturing heritage, Sheffield remains an ideal setting for an event that celebrates both innovation and tradition within the jewellery and silversmithing sectors.

Since its launch, Goldsmiths North has firmly established itself as one of the UK's leading contemporary jewellery and silverware fairs. The event continues to play an important role in supporting the industry by providing a platform for talented makers, promoting emerging designers and encouraging wider appreciation of contemporary craftsmanship.

Representatives from Sheffield Assay Office were also present throughout the event, meeting exhibitors and visitors, discussing hallmarking and precious metals, and offering advice on the range of services available to jewellery businesses, designers and makers.

Sara Hale, Ambassador for Goldsmiths North and Head of Commercial Operations at Sheffield Assay Office, said:

"Goldsmiths North continues to be a fantastic celebration of British craftsmanship and creativity.
