In the second of a series of short videos from our Analytical Services department, the team gives you an insight into our state of the art facilities and explains how our cutting edge technology is used in the medical industry. Sheffield Assay Office is a UKAS accredited organisation that has been providing testing to the medical industry for more than 30 years.
Viewers are given a brief glimpse of ICP-OES and ICP-MS equipment used by the company's expert Senior Chemists, and other specialist, internationally validated analysis apparatus used to ensure a high standard in all of our test results, providing process validation and/or quality control of medical products.
We pride ourselves on being the only UK laboratory to offer bespoke turnaround from 24 ours to 10 days!

The Sheffield Assay Office was established in 1773, under an Act of Parliament and today the company assays and hallmarks the precious metals - silver, gold, platinum and palladium.
