Sheffield Assay Office promotes hallmarking at The Company of Master Jewellers Trade Event

Published: 23rd August 2019

On the 4th and 5th August, Sheffield and Birmingham Assay Office joined forces to promote hallmarking at the Company of Master Jewellers Trade Event held at The Hilton, NEC, in Birmingham.

The stand was a great success, with many attendees enquiring and showing interest in the special work Assay Offices do, and have done for many years. It was a great opportunity for staff from both Assay Office’s to meet and work together and it was a delight to meet some long-standing customers face to face.

The team from Sheffield Assay Office took the opportunity to promote our Analytical Services department and the heritage aspects of the business. It was great to meet so many interested people and to encourage them to visit and take a tour of Sheffield Assay Office's unique facilities.
