Master Cutler’s Challenge Raises £170,353 for Weston Park Cancer Charity
Published: 8th October 2026
Sheffield Assay Office was proud to take part in the Master Cutler’s Challenge 2025–26, which raised an incredible £170,353 for Weston Park Cancer Charity.
The Challenge brought together businesses and organisations from across South Yorkshire to support the charity’s ‘See It. Treat It.’ appeal, helping to bring Sheffield its first MRI simulator dedicated to cancer care.
As part of our fundraising efforts, members of the Sheffield Assay Office team took on a sponsored nine-mile walk from Endcliffe Park to Hathersage, enjoying the beautiful Peak District scenery along the way.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who supported us, Sheffield Assay Office contributed £2,890 to the overall fundraising total. We are delighted to have played our part in supporting such an important local charity and helping to make a difference to cancer care across the region.
The final total is a fantastic achievement and a wonderful example of what can be accomplished when local businesses and communities come together.
A huge thank you to everyone who sponsored our team, and congratulations to all those who took part in this year’s Challenge!
