Sheffield Assay Office featured alongside other luxury brands at the CW Sellors Christmas Wishes Showcase

It has been a pleasure to have been able to represent Sheffield Assay Office at the CW Sellors Christmas Wishes Showcase over the last two weeks.

The CW Sellors Christmas Wishes Showcase is an annual event where members of the public can explore beautiful jewellery, exquisite diamonds and luxury timepieces presented by esteemed brands.

This year's event took place at the newly-opened event space at Waters View, set in the breath-taking grounds overlooking Carsington reservoir.

The new jewellery design centre – the inspiration of the late Chris Sellors – is not yet formally open, so it was an honour to be part of one of its inaugural events.

With many CW Sellors customers visiting, the showcase was a perfect opportunity to have informative discussions with consumers about hallmarking and its importance to the industry. Hallmarking instils confidence in consumers about what they're purchasing so this is a valuable message for us to share. Visitors were genuinely interested in our history and what hallmarking represents.

A number of brands took part that are featured in the CW Sellors stores, such as Brown & Newirth, Faberge, Georg Jensen and many more, as well as their famous Whitby Jet and Blue John Mine Products. There was a wide variety of ranges to choose from.
