Sheffield Town Trust Holds Silver Dinner at Sheffield Assay Office

The team here at Sheffield Assay Office were delighted to host the Sheffield Town Trust for a very fine silver dinner on Monday 16th May.

The Assay Master, Ashley Carson and Master Cutler, James Tear joined the Sheffield Town Trust and a wonderful evening was had by all. The dining table was adorned with items from the Sheffield Assay Office silver collection, including historical candlesticks created by Samuel Roberts in 1773 and contemporary silver by Brett Payne, Keith Tyssen and Brian Asquith, Camelot Silverware and Jack Spencer and Kurt Calow.
