Winners at the 2024 Annual Goldsmiths' Craft & Design Council Awards

Held at the prestigious Goldsmiths’ Hall in London on Monday 4th, March 2024, this important annual awards ceremony was opened by the Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council’s chair Anne-Marie Reeves, and hosted by Council Trustees Maeve Gillies and Judith Lockwood,
The event welcomed 300 guests, including representatives from world-renowned jewellery houses, notable sponsors, industry associations, leading designers, and the UK media.
Anne-Marie Reeves told guests and award winners,
“It’s both an honour and privilege to be standing here tonight as chair of GCDC and part of this amazing industry. For those who are starting on that journey, be inspired by those who have gone before and set the high standards we all aspire to. For those stars of the future, the world is your oyster!
Sheffield Assay Office were delighted to have supported the Awards for a number of years and as the company celebrated its 250th anniversary, Assay Master Ashley Carson choose to sponsor the 2D Hand Rendering Award. The award was won by Stasia Parker and our congratulations go to her on this wonderful design.

The Craftsmanship and Design Awards are unique to the British jewellery industry and allied trades in rewarding excellence in technical skills and creative design in precious metals and related materials. The Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council (GC&DC), which operates the competition, actively encourages all craftspeople and designers in the industry – as well as apprentices and students – to enter their work.

If you missed this year’s awards, the awards exhibition is touring to Birmingham Assay Office during March and then will be on display at The Goldsmiths’ Centre for a 10-week summer exhibition and events programme, July to September 2024.
