The Goldsmiths’ Craft & Design Council Competition 2023 - Applications Now Open

Sheffield Assay Office are proud to be sponsoring The Goldsmiths' Craft & Design Competition in 2023. The awards promote excellence in design and craftmanship within the jewellery, goldsmithing and silversmithing industry and applications are now open!
The competition is made up of 2 main sections: the 2D design categories & the 3D finished work categories.
The key criteria for entry are that your work must have been completed between Jan 2022 – 2023 and made in the UK. You can be at any stage in your career, including a student, working professional or hobbyist.
The deadline for all submissions in midnight on January 15th 2023.
The Sheffield Assay Office was established in 1773, under an Act of Parliament and today the company assays and hallmarks the precious metals - silver, gold, platinum and palladium. Sheffield Assay Office is one of only four UK assay offices who all work to uphold the Hallmarking Act of 1973 and continue to ensure consumer protection for customers purchasing precious metals.
