Dr Belen Morales, head of Analytical Services here at Sheffield Assay Office, was delighted to be a guest speaker at the recent 2021 LBMA Assaying and Refining Digital Conference, presenting a programme of research using the principles given by the standards ISO 15093:20 and ISO 15096 to develop an ICP-OES in-house test method for testing high purity gold.

The Cutler's Company Competition

The Cutlers’ Company is launching an annual design competition to create a set of contemporary cutlery, consisting of a knife, a fork and a spoon. This new competition is planned to run for the next 95 years and is open to students and new graduates (up to 3 years after graduation).
