Hallmarker/ Punch Controller - 40+ Years

Conal started working for Sheffield Assay Office in 1979. He is an experienced press and hand marker, using traditional techniques to apply hallmarks to articles, in fact Conal is the longest serving member of staff in the hallmarking department!  He has experience of marking everything from candlesticks to waiters, bracelets to keyrings. Conal also covers punch control, checking control sheets and issuing punches, ensuring the correct hallmarks are applied to the articles. In his spare time he likes to play golf.
