Receipt and Despatch Clerk
I started working for Sheffield Assay Office in 2000 when we were based in the centre of town. I worked full-time for eight years until me and my husband decided to start a family. Since my return I now work part-time.
I do a variety of jobs throughout the day from, from unpacking parcels to inputting the information onto the computer system and weighing out parcels ready to dispatch back to the customer.
I also look after our local customers at the counter, building relationships with our clients and dealing with people in a professional manner.
